About Me
Elnaz Sorouri was born and raised in urban Singapore. She developed an interest in animation and drawing in her early teens. She was first enthralled by the movie Rattatouille and how and the animators brought human characteristics to a creature that most people do not even want to be associated with. As her fascination grew, she began watching more of both 2D and 3D animated films.
Elnaz's skills were first honed in Singapore Polytechnic where she is currently pursuing her Diploma in Digital Animation. In Singapore Polytechnic, Elnaz found her passion in character animation and thus chose to specialize in that area. However, her education in Singapore Polytechnic also equipped her with other skills required in the industry such as basic modelling, concept art, lighting and compositing.
Elnaz's main drive towards animation is that it is one of the more creative methods of sharing stories. Even from a young age, Elnaz enjoys reading books from different genres. To her, animation is a platform for artists to express what they see or imagine in their minds to moving pictures that others can enjoy.
