However, I had some hiccups through the process. I manged to do some blocking. The reason that I did not manage to finish blocking because some issues came up, mainly that when I wanted to import the audio clip into maya, the audio could not be imported even though it was a wav. file. It took quite a long time for me to google what the issue was. However, in the end, I asked Dennis for help. So, all in all, the previous week I manged to fix the audio issue and block out some poses for the animation.
I learnt that it is always best to plan out the steps in advance and give some free time in case any issues come up. I also had some difficulties with posing the characters as the acting required in the animation is very subtle. I also had to research some acting videos from movies and tv series. I also did some research on facial expressions. I found a very useful video on lynda.com:

I did research on basic emotions in animation because the audio that I chose to animate to requires a a lot of subtle acting.
